Tool #6

I loved this tool! I can think of so many ways I could have used this for my students in Life Skills. I looked at PBWorks, Wikispaces and Google sites as well as SBISD Curriculum Wiki. I would like to see a Wiki set for some of the specialized SPED curriculums so that many teachers could easily pass ideas back on forth on it. I am not sure how I will use this with my LLI students but it is definitely something that has many uses. I think it might be good to use Google sites since SBISD seems to be using so many Google features and usual things that are all designed together (Google) worked together better.

Tool #5

I found Delicious and Diego to have many ways to help me be more organized and yet have more resources and information available. I joined both groups and did two bookmarks in Delicious and joined two groups in Diigo. I was looking for information related to SPED and language arts and there was so much I just had to look at a small portions and then I will come back when I have more time. I was using tags such as special education, reading, reading strategies and I did find one groups I will be very interested in called AT in SPED so that will be the first one I spend more time looking at.

Tool #4

Wow! I am finding out so many new things. I am not sure how I will use these in my classroom with my students since I am moving into a new position this year but I am sure that I will find blogs to subscribe to that will help me with my new position and from there I hopefully will start using these tools more.

Tool #3

I created and added two items to my blog. I did work with other sites and it is amazing what there is to work with. I teach resource and I think I could create fun things like cartoons for my students.

Tool #2

I am learning that there are different ways to communicate besides just email. I am a"lurker" so it is good to learn to actually do comments. I used 5 teachers at my school to comment - Lindsay Buse, Pat Daigle, Dancer Feet, Soe-Lynn, and Kerry Cashiola.

Tool #1

Well, I am not as good with computers as I thought. There is a lot to learn as I go forward but I am glad to have the opportunity to do this.
Forward I go into the land of Technology.
